Favorite Five

Do you have a favorite song???

Imagine that you are going to visit a secluded island......
That's right......feel the ocean breeze on your skin, smell the fresh salt air, relish the coolness of the lapping waves on your toes.....

Now, suppose you could take only five songs with you to this deserted island! Which five songs would they be?  How would you ever choose just five??  Let's think about this together......
For starters, here are five songs I would include on my island adventure:

*Nature Boy
*Brahm's Requiem
*Freebird
*Go Rest High On That Mountain
*See You Later, Alligator

But, that is just this week's fav five......it really is hard to choose!
Let me hear from YOU!  Leave a comment with YOUR five fav songs!!

Welcome Back!

Welcome Back!
The school year is off to a GREAT start at the Pyne!
I am excited that the Pyne Arts Singers will now be rehearsing on Tuesday mornings at 7:40 in the music room.  This group is non-auditioned and open to all students grades 4-8 with a permission slip. This is the group that will sing for special events including holiday caroling in the neighborhood, nursing home concert field trip, Memorial Day, and graduation.  Students in the chorus will have the opportunity to improve and strengthen their voice as we explore new and exciting songs together! If you need a permission slip, please see me.
The more the merrier!
